Adcom 5500. GFA 5500 MOSFET Power Amplifier Photo 3723863 UK Audio Mart The Adcom GFA-5500 warmed up (no signal) on my bench for a week to let the capacitors form, before replacing my previous amplifier (Carver TFM-45) The GFA-5500 Note: Many of the design features in the GFA-5500 are virtually identical to the GFA-5800 power amplifier

The primary difference between these amplifiers is power output The Adcom GFA-5500 is mostly the MOSFET cousin of the older bipolar GFA-555 (both 200wpc) Together that gives you five channels of some serious matched power for all your speakers
GFA 5500 200 WPC amp and GTP 502 Preamp two channel Photo. They are designed for home theater, or at least the 5503 is (what else could you do with three channels?) Unlike the GFA-7000 [click here to see review], the 5500 and 5503 use MOSFETs in the output stage (the 7000 uses bipolars) The GFA-5500 and GFA-5503 are two and three channel power amps respectively
